Several events for all ages include a junior mtb style race, and a 1k trail run for ages 5-12. For the big kids try the MTB race to the top of Beaver and back down with a few laps around the base of the resort area. Utah's toughest 10k trail run to the top of Beaver and back down will be sure to test even the elite runners. No matter what the race you'll be sure to have a fun time all while enjoying the music festival and good food. All race entrants get FREE admission to the Music Festival plus a race day t-shirt. Fall leaves, cool temps, good music, food and fun for everyone.
While supporting your friends and family you will have an opportunity to sit back and listen to the sounds of bands next to the lodge at the base of the resort. This area will give you different view points of racers coming and going during the day.

Gentle Ben Run Out is close to the bottom
Rock Run & Ride 10k. This is Utah's Toughest 10k. Starting at 7201' the course will start at the east end of Beaver Mtn parking lot. After a quick warm up across the parking lot, the course will head up "Little Beaver." Nothing little about that shot in the quads before heading north across "Beaver's Face". From there you will head NE and wind up "Gentle Ben". This is a double track dirt road and mostly free from loose rock. The road will switch back to the east before turning to the west. Hear you will find the 1st and 3rd aid station. After continuing you will climb to the west and then head to the south before reaching the turn around point at 8822' You will reach over an 8% grade a few times during the run. At the top and after 3.1 kilometers is the 2nd aid station and spectacular views. You will now turn and head back down the mountain using the same trail you just concord. At 9.35 kilometers you will follow the edge of the music festival in hopes of cheers from the spectators before reaching the parking lot and finish line.
